an English interview.
Pingdingshan City has a long history and rich cultural heritage. As one of the cradles of Chinese civilization, Pingdingshan has a profound cultural accumulation and colorful folk customs. When being asked in the English interview about my hometown Pingdingshan, I would like to talk more about the unique culture and customs.
The Baofeng Lake, located in the west of Pingdingshan, is known as the “Little West Lake”. It has a beautiful scenic spot, and it is one of the main tourist attractions in Pingdingshan. The mountains and waters blend in harmoniously, and the scenery is refreshing and pleasant. Pingdingshan is also rich in mineral resources, and the quality of coal is particularly good, which is known in the world. The coal resources here play an important role in the development of national industry, and 
contribute greatly to the economy of Pingdingshan.
However, Pingdingshan is not only famous for its beautiful scenery and rich resources, but also for its food culture. People in Pingdingshan are known for their love of food, especially spicy food. “Pingdingshan Spicy Noodles” is one of the most famous local dishes, which is known for its unique flavor and excellent taste. The spicy noodles are made with special ingredients and local spices, which make it truly distinctive.
Apart from that, the people of Pingdingshan are very friendly and hospitable. They always welcome visitors from afar and treat them with great respect. In particular, the locals are very proud of their unique culture and always eager to share their history with others.
